Monday part one

Do you own a mens button up shirt?
Do you want a new dress for spring?
If yes to any above- try this.

and If you don't own a mens shirt- seriously go to the thrift store.

You need-
 a mens button up shirt,
a pair of sharp scissors
and sewing machine( or needle and thread+ patience)

Follow these really clearly photographed steps.

cut cut cut

 snip snip snip
 cut cut cut
snip snip snip

After you cut- it looks like this more or less. You can choose to opt out of the extra sleeves which I eventually did. Following all of this cutting, just sew the raw edges to look nice and bring it in on the sides so that it fits you. It's a really cute look for spring time.  You could find a really cool print at a thrift store. Good luck and Remember- If you try this DIY, e-mail me or Tweet me a photo and I'll post it!!

And a little note - Here is a photo from my boyfriends family farm...I have this unrealistic dream to be a farmer here in France....Am I cut out to farm?? no....but isn't it beautiful?
